We believe our training program is unique and hard to duplicate because MYTDOG™ is not limited or restricted to any one breed of dog AND our training package is for UNLIMITED group lessons. Because just like people, dogs get rusty when they don’t practice their skills, so if you think your dog needs a bit of a refresher, feel free to attend any future group training sessions at no additional cost!!

Our board and train programs help busy families to be able to enjoy a well-mannered and happy dog even if they don't have the time or knowledge to train the dog themselves. We do the hard part and then return the dog ready for the owner to take over and enjoy! You can choose the program that fits your needs and budget. Whether you just need you dog to get a “jump start” and get that training foundation and those house manners under control or you want your dog to come home READY FOR THE REAL WORLD, ready to be an active, well behaved member of your family both at home and in public with the full array of skills. We do it all, train the dog, then train the owner, and then train them as a "team", so you can communicate successfully with your Jump Start or Fast Track Graduate!

In our board and train programs our staff, will be happy to train your dog to meet YOUR goals and be a well behaved and obedient member of your family and community. You choose the program and we train and practice in the enviroment(s) that will make your dog ready to be successful, regardless of distraction! While participating in the Board and Train Program your dog lives at home with owner/head trainer, Sue Barnes! That's right, your dog will NOT be in a boarding kennel, they will live in Sue's home and interact with her on a daily basis. Friendly dogs will be given plenty of play time with our dogs during free time.

Sue and MYTDOG trainers will be teaching your dog to interact with people and other animals as well as how to behave in a home environment or out in public. In today’s world, many people don't have time to work on their pet's training themselves, and puppies and dogs wind up developing bad habits that are hard to break as a dog grows older or time passes.

JUMP START, Board and Train Program (4-5 days)

We get the training started for a well behaved dog AT HOME and help you do the rest!

Includes: 4-5 Days Training in our Home, 2 Private Lessons, Unlimited Lifetime Group Classes, Phone and Email Consults.

Skills: This program is designed to get the dog a quick but strong foundation in the skills of leadership, house manners, recall and control. Your dog learns to settle in the house, come when called in the house/family setting, not jump on people, not charge through doors, no biting or chewing things, and to sit politely.

Results: This program gets you a strong start and a dog that is calmer and more behaved in the home. Your dog will come home a more enjoyable and controllable member of your family and ready to learn all the additional skills that come with the UNLIMITED program. The JUMP START makes you next steps in training MUCH easier because the dog has a foundation and all we help you do the rest!

FAST TRACK , Board and Train Program (10-16 days)

We train your dog to be reliable and well behaved at HOME and in the REAL WORLD and then teach you to maintain it!

Includes: 10-16 Days Training in our Home, 2 Private Lessons, Unlimited Lifetime Group Classes, Phone and Email Consults.

Skills: The list of skills included in the UNLIMITED Program are our priority. We establish the goals with you and design the program to meet YOUR needs and goals for your dog.

Results: Your dog will come home knowing the skills and behaviors to be reliable and well behaved in your home AND in public. Fast track dogs have a strong understanding of the skills and most are off leash when they return home! The next step is training you! We will help you learn to communicate to maintain the learned skills and build on them to create and maintain the 4 legged family member you have always hoped for!

Behavioral Consultations: for puppies, behavioral concerns or individual assistance

Need some help with getting your puppy or new dog accustomed to your home? Need some guidance on how to solve your dogs specific problems? Feel like you just need a professional to help you assess your dog or even your needs in dealing with behavior concerns? A consult works best for those that want some personal assistance with their dog and may not be ready to commit the time or investment into a full training program. This option is not a long term solution but often works for those that just need some help to get through specific needs or issues.

We invite everyone to join, this class is designed to help your dog gain confidence and build a bond between pet and owner. Training is focused on ensuring that each dog can successfully complete each obstacle and that the handler understands the basic rules and commands. This is great for dogs and handlers with no experience or a good refresher for those who've tried it once or twice before but would like to polish their skills.
