Thanks to our wonderul partners and supporters at NATIVE PERFORMANCE DOG FOOD, we were asked to contribute a training article to Pheasants Forever’s “On The Wing” newsletter that goes out to over 100,000 members and subscribers across the US. First, as the Trainers and Coaches of Team MYTDOG we wanted to let people know when and where the upcoming events were that we plan to attend and to allow TEAM MYTDOG members share which ones they plan on coming to, where they are staying, and ask questions or coordinate details for travel. Last night we had our group class in Ankeny after a 2 week break. I was pleasantly surprised to see a smaller, but good group present and ready to train! Each week we are working toward you all taking steps toward addressing challenges and making improvements, creating new opportunities to ”proof” both you and your dogs skills and that work toward achieving graduate status with your dogs! So we go through our drills, exercises and trainings….often times which are very repetitive… but what I admire in all of you is you commitment to using these groups to the fullest! Group is not something we do to just “go through the motions” and I can tell that you all get that. With each week I try to come up with a variety of ways to present challenges to your existing skills and help you to look at your world and all the great training and learning opportunities and challenges it offers.
Every one of your gives me great pride and everyday I celebrate the opportunity to live my dream and passion and to help all of you (and many more new folks to come) have the ultimate companion that you can take everywhere and share your life with.
Thank you to all of our MYTDOG clients who trust me to lead and instruct you in helping your dog to truly be the best….friend, companion, and family member!
