Kyle, Janet and Hoss (December 2008)
We sent our 8 month old wild misbehaved yellow lab Hoss to Sue for the fast board and train. Hoss was a running jumping and non stop biting on our clothes, hands, and ankles kind of puppy. We had used another trainer and it was a disaster. We gave up trying to walk him on a leash because first of all it was a battle to get the leash on and then it was liking trying to walk a charging bull. Sue had him for 2 weeks and I was nervous when he came home not wanting Sue to leave thinking he will go back to his ways. It was unbelievable!! For the first time he listened to us and would heel, sit and go to his place. He's been home 2 weeks and it has been the best 2 weeks ever. Sue has been here to check up on Hoss and us and helped us polish a few things. Her commitment to Hoss and us is so awesome. She really bonded with Hoss and we also feel so comfortable with her. Sue has made our home a peaceful place again and we can never thank her enough. Her training has done wonders with Hoss and we have a fun loving puppy that we can enjoy. I wanted to write you a email thanking you. Without you Mandy and I would still be struggling to walk the dogs and taking Zoe out in public places. Also, we would not know anything about Dock Dogs. As Mandy and I were driving home yesterday from Kansas City we were talking about all the changes we see in both Buddy and Zoe, and even though we have a lot of work left to do to get them to graduate, a year ago Zoe would not have been able to participate in an event like this one this past weekend, she would have been to scared to even get on the dock. Your dedication to our dogs and the dogs that you train, whether it be Dock Dogs, Agility or E-Collar is unbelievable. As you know Mandy and I experienced all kinds of trainers and none of them took the time to get to know Buddy and Zoe the way you have. Not only did you get to know them but you have to got to know Mandy and I and that means a great deal to us!
It is coming up on our year anniversary of training with you, and we cannot believe the difference we see in our dogs. For the most part they listen to us when we give them a command (as I said earlier, we still have some work to do), and it has given us the confidence to embark on new adventures with them.
I guess what I am really trying to say Sue, is THANK YOU, from the bottom of our hearts, we owe you so much for what you have taught us and what you are going to teach us. We continually look forward to attending class and seeing your business succeed.
