PROGRAMS
Our training approach focuses on helping you clearly communicate with and train your dog in a fun, fair, and effective manner. Whether you select the most basic or most advanced program our goals are the same...to have a "no-excuses" pet. Teaching owners is just as important as training the dog and we take that seriously! You shouldn't have to say "well, he listens at home" or have excuses for why your dog is less than polite, let us help YOU AND YOUR DOG! We want you to have a reliable, well-mannered dog that you can enjoy to fullest!!
The "Life Skills" Program
"Send your Puppy/young dog to School!"
Recommended for: Puppies and Young dogs up to 6 months
INCLUDES:

Skills: Getting your young dog the LIFE SKILLS they need to get started right! MYTDOG will work on teaching your puppy and you to be successful with the following skills/behaviors:

Leash introduction and training

Other specific behaviors / concerns as identified by owner
Results: We know how challenging and time consuming puppies can be! The Life Skills program is designed to help You establish a strong foundation of boundaries, limitations, communication, and understanding to make your relationship and connection with your strong and help you get your puppy/young dog establish good habits and skills so you can enjoy them!
**These take place at the MYTDOG location and are usually scheduled Monday-Thursday over 2 weeks. Board and Train days over a weekend can be requested and may be accommodated for an additional fee and if availability exists.
The "Core" Program
"Training clients to train their dog and GET RESULTS!"
Recommended for: Dogs 6 months+. Owners that want to do their dogs training themselves nut have the guidance and coaching from a professional that can give them individualized instruction that gives them results!
Included:
1. 2 private lessons, other requested lessons at our location for 1 year at no extra cost.
2. Unlimited Phone, video and Email consults FOR THE LIFE OF THE DOG!
3. Remote training collar
4. Video resources and instruction
Skills: On and Off leash Skills at Home and in the Real World!
Results:
What your dog learns to do:

Come when called ...every time - on or off leash!

Sit on command (and stay until told)

Settle quietly when asked...when you want them to!

Walk obediently on a loose leash and off-leash!
MYTDOG™ trained dogs also learn what NOT to do:

These programs offer you the opportunity to CHOOSE which way you would like to complete your training:
Daycademy (day school) or Board and Train Option
**Daycademy schedule is limited to 2-3 dogs daily and is broken into:
AM, scheduled between 7:30/8am-Noon,
PM: Scheduled between 1pm- 4/4:30pm
The "Core" PLUS Program
Daycademy
"Let us do your dogs' remote collar introduction, making getting training started easier for you!"
Recommended for: Dogs 6 months+. Owners that want to do their dogs training themselves but would like the first steps in their dog being introduced to the collar to be done by a professional.

1. 2 private lessons, other requested lessons at our location for 1 year at no extra cost.
2. Unlimited Phone, video and Email consults FOR THE LIFE OF THE DOG!

4. Video resources and instruction
Skills and Results: The "Core" PLUS program has the same skills and goals as the "Core" program but also includes your dog attending MYTDOG "Daycademy" (Day school) for 3 dates.so that your dog can be easier for the owner. The most challenging part for owners that want to do the Core program and take on all the training for their dog getting that first foundation and introduction done. The Core PLUS just offers a way to take the potential frustration out of that and help you and your dog get started with a little extra help! Your dog will begin to learn engagement and how to respond and follow with the cue from the collar.
**These take place at the MYTDOG location and are usually scheduled Tuesday-Thursday.
The "Jump Start" Program
Daycademy or Board and Train
“We Jump Start the training toward a well-behaved dog AT HOME and help you do the rest!”
Recommended for: Dogs 6 months and older
Included:

Skills: This program is designed to get the dog a quick but strong foundation in the skills of leadership, house manners, recall and control. Your dog learns to settle in the house, come when called in the house/family setting, not jump on people, not charge through doors, no biting or chewing things, learn to follow/begin to heel and to sit politely.
Results: This program gets you a strong start and a dog that is calmer and more behaved in the home. Your dog will come home a more enjoyable and controllable member of your family and ready to learn all the additional skills that come with the CORE program. The JUMP START makes you next steps in training MUCH easier because the dog has a foundation and all we help you do the rest!

The "Fast Track" Program
Daycademy or Board and Train
“We train your dog to be reliable and well-behaved at HOME and in the REAL WORLD and teach you how to maintain it!”
Recommended for: Dogs 6 months and older
Included:

12 or 16 Board and Train days at our location**

Skills: The lists of skills included in the COREand JUMP START Programs are our priority. We establish the goals with you and design the program based on YOUR DOGS' needs so we can help your goals for your dog. The longer we have to work with your dog the more reliable behaviors and commands will become, so selecting the Fast Track options provide you and your dog more consistent learning and practice to build positive behavior and habits!
Results: We train with the goal of your dog learning the skills and behaviors to be reliable and well behaved in your home AND, for most, even in public. Each dog progresses differently but the ultimate goal is to help you dog have a strong understanding of skills and manner and many are off leash when they return home! The important step in all of this is TRAINING you and we pride ourselves in providing you with the training and instruction to help you be successful! We will help you learn to communicate to maintain the learned skills and build on them to create and maintain the 4 legged family member you have always hoped for!
